ACT BOLDLY
We recommend planning your garden with the principle that at least 20% of the solutions should be bolder than they may currently seem. This is because we change and evolve. It's time to let go of excessive modesty and indecision—truly special things are created only by doing and not being afraid to create.

INVEST IN WHAT MATTERS
Providing the right growing conditions is the most important thing you can do for your plants, which is why properly preparing planting areas is a critical part of creating a garden. It’s often a big job and comes with certain costs, but in the long run, it’s well worth it.
We also recommend including at least a few key plants in noticeable sizes from the start—such as large specimen trees or shrubs. This adds depth, immediate visual impact, and an incredible sense of satisfaction, giving you the feeling of a “complete garden” right away. That way, you won’t feel disappointed after doing a lot of work but seeing little to show for it.
Of course, carefully and correctly carrying out all planned tasks is just as important. But remember: a garden is a process, not just a final result!

MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
We definitely recommend considering—and, if needed, implementing—modern solutions for garden maintenance. Robotic lawn mowing and built-in irrigation systems can reduce the time spent on upkeep by more than 50%, freeing up more time for enjoyment and relaxation.

LIGHT MATTERS
In our climate zone, most of the year is relatively dark—even the beginning and end of the garden season often fall into the darker hours of the day, both mornings and evenings. We strongly recommend carefully considering and installing a garden lighting system. It will add depth, define space during the darker hours, and reveal a whole new dimension to your garden experience!

A garden is an exciting journey—not always simple or smooth. We change, our lives change, so do our needs and desires. And so must the garden change as well—flowing with life and time, always offering joy to the eyes and refreshment to the soul.
An old saying goes: “The best time to start a garden was 20 years ago. The second-best time is today.”
This is one of five articles in the series—we recommend reading the others as well.
