HEDGE MODULES: PRIVACY IN ONE DAY

In contemporary garden design, beauty alone is not enough. A garden should also offer a sense of calm, privacy, and separation from the outside world. Creating these qualities is often one of the most important aspects of a well-designed landscape.

WHAT IS A HEDGE MODULE?

The children's playground and active recreation area are enclosed by a hedge, which helps to clearly define the space and creates a safer, cozier environment.

Hedge modules are pre-grown and regularly shaped hedge elements that allow you to achieve the effect of a finished hedge immediately after planting.

That is why modular hedges are becoming an increasingly popular solution in modern landscape design. They allow you to create a full-fledged, dense and visually mature green wall in just a few hours.

Each hedge module is a fully formed section of hedge, approximately one metre long, up to two metres high, and around 40 centimetres wide. A compact root system allows for easy handling and planting, while ensuring excellent establishment and long-term growth.

PLANTING AND USE OF HEDGE MODULES

A hedge encloses and frames the seating area with a fire pit, creating a sense of privacy and protecting it from prying eyes. A dense green background helps create a cozy atmosphere and makes the seating area a harmonious part of the garden.

The planting process is thoughtfully designed from start to finish. Each hedge module arrives with its root system contained in a specially developed cardboard box, allowing it to be planted directly into the soil. As the cardboard gradually breaks down, the roots are free to extend into the surrounding ground and establish naturally.

The result is a planting method that is quick, clean, and efficient, making instant privacy surprisingly simple to achieve.

Such solutions are ideal for situations where you need to quickly separate yourself from the neighboring territory, the street, or the surrounding buildings. Modular hedges help structure the space, create green rooms in the garden, provide shelter, and give the landscape architectural clarity. They organically fit into both contemporary garden design and more classic garden layouts.

HEDGE MODULES IN A GARDEN DESIGN

In GALANTUS projects, hedges often become an important element of the composition. They serve not only as a functional boundary, but also as a peaceful backdrop for flowering plants, trees, and ornamental grasses.

Every well-designed garden begins with structure. Hedges are among the most elegant ways to define space, create privacy, and bring a sense of order to the landscape.

Modern landscape design is increasingly based not on waiting for many years, but on thoughtful solutions that allow you to create a full-fledged garden feeling today.

Premium Plants offers hedge modules made from a variety of plants. Evergreen modules, grown from yew or spruce, create a permanent green framework for the garden. Deciduous varieties, such as beech and hornbeam, celebrate the changing seasons while maintaining the structure and rhythm of the landscape.

Thanks to regular shaping, deciduous hedges also maintain a very dense branching pattern and successfully fulfill their function in all seasons.
