A decorative and seasonally very expressive shrub. It stands out with the characteristic, so-called, wings on the branches and trunk of a saddle tree. The bright green foliage turns bright red in autumn, creating an expressive accent in the garden. The small flowers are followed by decorative orange-red fruits (inedible!) with orange seeds, giving the shrub an additional accent.
Unpretentious and easy to grow, grows well in both sun and partial shade.
