The flowering period, which begins in June, is a real adventure, as the bush is covered with creamy white, simple flowers, the fragrance of which spreads even beyond the garden borders on warm evenings. Philadelphia is a modest and very hardy plant that feels good in both sun and partial shade, and is excellent for both free-growing hedges and individual group plantings. Its light green foliage serves as an excellent background for other garden plants all summer.
