The ' Galaxy' variety is a spectacular magnolia, created to dominate the garden in spring with its elegant, slender silhouette and expressive flowers. Unlike shrubby varieties, ' Galaxy' usually forms a single strong trunk and an upward, pyramidal crown, making it an excellent accent tree even in small areas.
Flowering begins a little later than other varieties, which is an advantage, as it can avoid spring frosts. The flowers are large, tulip-shaped, directed upwards. Their color is deep and saturated, dark purple-pink or raspberry on the outside, but slightly lighter on the inside, creating a luxurious and warm impression.
