The graceful and ever-changing Lamarckian currant grows from a shrub into a small multi-stemmed tree, whose fine branching gives it an elegant structure. Especially in winter, when the gray bark and fine branch pattern stand out. The leaves bloom in a dark bronze tone, later turning green and shimmering in yellow and reddish tones in autumn.
The airy clusters of white flowers transform into bluish-black, sweet and juicy berries in summer, while its compact root system and undemanding nature make it a great accent plant that instantly gives the garden a light, sophisticated feel.
