Woolly Partridge (Virburnum lantana)
€299.00
The woolly partridge stands out for its unique texture and natural, strong character. Unlike other partridges, its leaves are thick, soft and covered with fine down, which gives the bush a silvery-green, slightly matte shade. It is one of the most hardy varieties that feels stable and confident in the garden, not afraid of either drought or strong winds.
In spring, the shrub blooms in dense, flat clusters of creamy white flowers, but the real beauty begins in late summer. The woolly partridge has an unusual property: the berries ripen gradually in one bunch, so you can see both bright pink and shiny black berries at the same time, creating an interesting play of colors. In autumn, the shrub turns warm shades of purple and bronze, but its dense growth is excellent for creating natural hedges or for the back of the garden, where a strong and unpretentious accent is needed.
