Thanks to its compact, dense and neatly rounded growth, this is one of the most popular varieties of woolly partridge. Its value lies in its thick, fluffy, dark green leaves, which give the bush an expressive texture and a natural, matte appearance. This variety is excellent for areas where a durable and visually solid plant is needed, which is not afraid of wind and drought.
During flowering, in May, clusters of creamy white flowers bloom, and in the second half of summer the bush is decorated with berries, which are bright orange-red at first, but later turn shiny black. In autumn, the foliage of ' Mohican' turns deep bronze and purple. It is an ideal shrub for natural hedges, group plantings or as a stable and undemanding background plant for brighter flower beds.
