A small, delicate tree that announces the end of winter in spring. Its crown is airy and slightly spreading, eventually forming an overhanging branching that resembles a flowering umbrella.
The flowering time in late April or early May is magical. Before the leaves open, the tree is enveloped in a cloud of half-filled, soft pink flowers. The flowers are arranged in drooping clusters and are so dense that the branches behind them are almost invisible. In autumn, this Sakura delights again when the green leaves turn warm orange and yellow. This variety is popular for its relatively good winter hardiness and early flowering.
