This is one of the most popular and impressive varieties of sakura in the world. A strong and confident growing tree with a characteristic vase-shaped crown. In young trees, the branches tend upwards and spread out, but with age the crown becomes dense and slightly drooping.
The flowering time in May is truly royal, the sakura is literally flooded with large, full purple-pink flowers, resembling small roses. The leaves are bronze in color when blooming, in summer they become shiny green, and in autumn they turn into gorgeous yellow-orange shades.
