Black pine (Pinus nigra)
€239.00
It is distinguished by its dark, almost black bark and unusually long, stiff needles, which form a dense and visually heavy, strongly branched crown. The decorative appearance is complemented by elongated, 5-8 cm long cones, which turn light brown or yellowish when mature.
Unlike our common Scots pine, the black pine retains its symmetrical, pyramidal shape for much longer, making it an impressive garden vertical. It is incredibly resistant to urban pollution, strong winds and drought, making it a reliable choice for both larger landscapes and as a solitary plant. The black pine grows well in clay soils.
Height: 18-20 meters
